Mediation is a voluntary process in which two or more people agree to work with an impartial person to help them resolve a dispute or conflict. In mediation, all agreements are made by the parties and are not imposed by a court or a third party.
A mediator is a trained professional who assists the parties to reach a mutually agreeable resolution of their dispute.
